One happy family avoiding the knife for a little bit longer!

Yesterday we had a 6 month review with our orthopaedic consultant, we were not looking forward to this as he mentioned surgery at our last one and we really don’t want to go down this route unless absolutely necessary. However, we couldn’t have been more surprised by the outcome of this appointment…the surgeon is happy with Finlay’s mobility/body shape and has veered away from surgery to allow us to look more closely at medication!! We were delighted with this but the biggest outcome of the appointment was the surgeon telling us Finlay was only avoiding surgery thanks to the physio therapy we partake in daily!! This was lovely to hear – it makes all the hard work worthwhile.
